Remote Law & Motion Attorney – California Bar Required

A well-established California-based civil litigation firm is seeking a skilled Law & Motion Attorney to join its team on a fully remote basis. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex litigation matters in a collaborative and flexible environment. Candidates must be licensed to practice law in California and have a minimum of two years of motion practice experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft and oppose motions, including demurrers, motions to quash, motions to strike, and motions for relief
• Prepare and respond to discovery, including written requests and document demands
• Develop and negotiate stipulations, settlements, and related agreements
• Support trial preparation with briefs, witness lists, motions in limine, and related documents
• Conduct legal research and provide strategic analysis to clients and team members
• Maintain regular communication with clients and support case development
• Make occasional court appearances as necessary

Minimum Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor and active California Bar license
• Minimum 2 years of post-bar civil litigation experience
• Proficiency in legal research and writing
• Familiarity with California civil procedure and motion practice
• Experience conducting depositions
• Proficiency with Lexis or other legal research tools

Preferred Qualifications:

• Admission to the U.S. District Court, Southern District of California
• Experience using legal case management software

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive base salary ranging from $100,000 to $170,000, commensurate with experience
