Brief Description As an
In-Home Family Therapist on the
Early Childhood Team in Nystrom & Associates Community Based division, you’ll work in our CTSS (Children’s Therapeutic Support Services) program. You will build relationships with children and families to help them identify treatment goals; with an emphasis on children ages 0-5. We are looking for a compassionate individual who wants to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the clients we serve.

In This Role, You’ll Have The Opportunity To - Provide culturally responsive mental health skills to young children and their families in the home, community, and/or school
- Assist children and their families in identifying goals for functional improvement and work with them to meet their goals
- Design and implement treatment/intervention in-home reflective of the child’s needs
- Receive clinical supervision from a qualified staff, and obtain continuing education units
- Employees pursuing professional licensure are eligible to participate in Nystrom & Associates’ Professional Development Track. The Professional Development Track gives early career therapists the opportunity to work as an Outpatient Therapist after 9 months of providing ARMHS services. This track also has a specific focus on continuing education and an emphasis on training and advancement.

Requirements - Master's degree or other graduate degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields
- Must meet qualifications of one of the following:
- Clinical Trainee as per MN State Statute 245i.04.06
- Able to pursue MN LMFT, LICSW, LPCC, or LP
- Mental Health Professional as per MN State Statute 245i.04.02
- Minnesota LMFT, LICSW, LPCC, LP
- Desire to work with children and families and/or adults in their natural environment
- Comfortable with afternoon and evening hours; schedule is flexible
- Experience with play therapy techniques preferred
- Ability to work independently; Valid driver’s license/auto insurance/reliable vehicle
- Must be proficient in the use of computers, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel and the use of email
