Job Summary/Company : A leader in online continuing education courses based in Chantilly, VA is currently seeking a Marathi Translator to assist with reviewing AI translations of 30 minute course clips. This will only be for a one day contract assignment. Please apply today!

Responsibilities :

• Translate written and spoken content between English and Marathi, maintaining accuracy and detail.
• Interpret spoken communication, bridging language gaps between Marathi and English speakers.
• Adapt content to resonate with target audiences and cultural contexts.
• Proofread and edit translations for clarity, accuracy, and grammar.
• Ensure quality control , meeting industry standards and client expectations.

Qualifications/Background Profile :

• Bilingual Fluency: Native-level proficiency in Marathi and English (spoken and written).
• Effective Communicator: Skilled at conveying information clearly and building strong relationships.
• Meticulous Translator: Ensures accurate and error-free translations with keen attention to detail.
• Culturally Astute: Possesses a deep understanding of cultural nuances impacting translation.
• Proven Experience: Prior experience in translation, interpretation, or related areas.
• Deadline-Driven: Effectively manages time to meet project deadlines.
• Tech-Proficient: Familiar with industry-standard translation software and tools.
• Relevant Credentials: Holds a degree or certification in translation, linguistics, or a related field.
