System Administrator

About the Role:

Aquila Technology is seeking a Systems Administrator to join our team in supporting one of the country’s premier defense research organizations. This person should have prior experience managing Slack or similar cloud collaboration solutions such as Microsoft Teams. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with administrative roles including provisioning users, integrating Single Sign-On (SSO), configuring policies, and managing app approval processes and integrations. Experience administering Tosca and the Atlassian suite of tools—including Bamboo, Jira, and Confluence—is also required.

There are a few requirements for the position:

• Must be a U.S Citizen - Must have an active Secret / Top Secret Clearance in order to be considered (Green Cards / Visas do not qualify)
• Willingness to undergo a comprehensive background investigation and maintain a personal security clearance. (Aquila would sponsor you for the security clearance.)
• Must be within 100 miles of Lexington, MA (100% on-site)

Must Have:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Currently holds a Secret Clearance (OR a higher clearance)
• 5 years Maintaining applications in a Linux environment
• 5 years Tosca Automation
• 5 years Web application server deployment (TOMCAT or other server containers)
• 5 years Atlassian Stack
• 3 years CI/CD with containers/Cloud technologies
• 3 years Containers & Orchestration (OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes)
• 5 years Evaluation of audit logs
• 5 years MS Active Directory, LDAP
• 10 years Systems Administration
• 5 years Technologies including DNS, DHCP, Proxy and Load Balancing
• 5 years Virtualization Technologies to include VM management, Snapshots, SANs and iSCSI Storage Systems
• 5 years Windows Server Platform

Nice to Have:

• Macintosh and iOS platform(s)
• Windows Patch Management

Clearance Level: Candidates should have an active clearance (secret/top secret, etc.) in order to be considered for this position due to the nature of the work being done.

Location: This position is VIRTUAL . The candidate can work remotely but they MUST live within 100 miles of Lexington so that they can come into the Lab if necessary for the needs of the program. The onsite work will NOT be regular.

Interview Process: 1st round interview will be a Zoom with the hiring manager. 2nd round interview will be a Zoom with additional team members as needed.
