American Gonzo Food Corp seeks a Social Media Specialist to manage social media accounts for our collection of restaurants. We are looking for a highly organized, creative and pro-active person to enhance our Marketing Department through storytelling, social media engagement, content creation and analytics. This role combines a passion for the restaurant industry with photo + video and community building.

ABOUT US:

American Gonzo Food Corp is a family of diverse brands and concepts that stretches across 15 locations in Southern California, including Superba Food + Bread, Superba Snacks + Coffee, American Beauty, The Win~Dow and Pitfire Pizza. Each concept is chef and product driven, designed with their unique neighborhoods in mind and managed by a dedicated team of hospitality pros.

ABOUT THIS ROLE:

• You’ll directly report to and collaborate with the Director of Creative Services to bring our restaurants’ social media visions and strategy to life while channeling our unique brand voices
• You’ll own day to day social media activity, driving engagement and increasing followership
• You’ll produce eye-catching content and engaging caption copy for all social channels
• You’ll design, execute and share monthly social media dashboards, reporting on KPIs and insights to improve our position across all social channels
• You’ll have a flexible schedule to strategize and create content that successfully engages the online community

ABOUT YOU:

• You have 1-2+ years of experience in social media, with strong video, photography and written communication skills
• You have a deep passion for the food industry with an excellent design aesthetic and attention to detail. Hospitality experience is preferred.
• You are well versed in current social media trends and technologies, with a solid understanding of how to create engaging experiences and bring them to life
• You have a passion for analytics, and are excited to find and implement solutions that deliver results
• You are a detail oriented multi-tasker, with strong project management skills and the ability to efficiently and effectively prioritize tasks to meet deadlines in both independent and group settings
