If you have the qualities and drive to lead yourself or teams, there are roles ready to cultivate your skills and take you to the next level. **Job Description:** **Job Summary** This position serves as a liaison between UPS and government entities, resolving issues related to customs declarations, shipping restrictions, CBP holds and other PGA processes. This job requires the individual to work closely with the import department. **Responsibilities:** Working closely with US Customs on our nightly process here in brokerage which will include the following - completing abandonments nightly, processing EAN's for USDA, working shipments in our system for release, presenting inspects to US Customs at the sort, and putting shipments on hold for US Customs. This is a fast-paced, busy office environment, and we are seeking an individual that suits our needs for this type of work. "Individual will work at the HUB in an office with four team members". **Qualifications:** Strong knowledge of US Customs and Border Protection Regulations - Preferred Bachelor's Degree (or internationally comparable degree) - Preferred International Trade, Logistics or Freight Forwarding experience - Preferred Previous experience with classification and/or FTA determination - Preferred Grade 8 **Employee Type:** Permanent UPS is committed to providing a workplace free of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. **Other Criteria:** UPS is an equal opportunity employer. The base pay for this position ranges from $23.05/hr to $37.45/hr. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to, market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and education/training and a candidate's work experience. Hired applicants are offered annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs, subject to applicable eligibility requirements. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
