Job Description
A leading international manufacturer of industrial cooling solutions is looking for a field service technician to work out of their US offices in Mount Prospect, IL. This will require you to report to their office when not traveling. Expect over 50% travel nationally, limited weekend work. You will be responsible for installations, preventative maintenance, and repairs of the cooling systems used in different manufacturing trades. Their most significant sectors are printing and packaging, but they also work heavily in medical and automotive. You will be able involved with customer support when not on the road. Good troubleshooting skills are a must. Being able to problem solve is critical. You should have good electrical, mechanical, and communication skills. Starting hourly wage is $30 to $40. Good benefits and OT is available. Expect a six figure income potential. Ideal candidate will be anyone with a solid automation and HVAC technical background.
