Job Description

Inland Truck Parts & Service is looking to hire  an entry level Driveline/Component Shop Technician  at our Fargo location. Work schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00-5:00. We provide all tools and training needed for this position.
What you'll do: Be trained to disassemble and rebuild transmissions and differentials in addition to learning how to build driveshafts.

We are looking for an individual who is dependable,  detail-oriented , and willing to learn. While  experience isn’t necessary , we would love to speak with you if you enjoy a garage type work environment, have mechanical ability, use hand tools, and:

· Have excellent attendance and are willing to learn

- Have prior experience in any of the following: hydraulic press, rotary grinder, MIG welder, or acetylene torch (not a requirement, just a plus!)

· Would enjoy operating equipment such as: forklift, hand air tools, overhead crane, cabinet parts washer/shaker

· Have mechanical aptitude / knowledge

· Have a desire to do the job right without taking shortcuts

· Want to be a part of a team that encourages core values of respect, honesty, and integrity

Competitive pay and  excellent benefits . Starting pay for this entry level position is $21 an hour, depending on experience. We will train the right candidate and provide all tools needed for the position. the shop is climate controlled. Post-offer testing required, including drug screen.
