Job Description Key Responsibilities  Employment Compliance: Advise on worker classification, wage & hour laws, immigration employment concerns, equal opportunity regulations, handbook creation, and workplace safety.  Contracts & Negotiations: Draft and negotiate employment agreements, separation packages, and restrictive covenants (non-compete, non-solicit, confidentiality provisions).  Strategic Advisory: Oversee reductions-in-force, severance planning, WARN Act compliance, and employment-related due diligence in corporate transactions (M&A).  HR Leadership & Management: Supervise Corporate HR team and collaborate with HR Managers on compliance, internal investigations, discipline, terminations, wage issues, and sensitive employment matters.  Litigation & Defense: Support and/or coordinate defense of workers compensation claims alongside insurance providers.
