An employer in San Francisco, CA is seeking a Email Marketing Manager to join their team. The Email Marketing Manager will be responsible for executing and reporting on customer and prospect facing email marketing communications. This role will work closely with various stakeholders to drive campaign performance building innovative marketing strategy and driving execution. The candidate will help define the companys audience targeting strategy, testing methodology, and measurement of email marketing effectiveness. Additionally, the candidate will assist in the development of tools, processes, and frameworks to further best practices and deliver operational efficiencies. The ideal candidate will have experience running complex email marketing campaigns and nurture programs, have a strong background in audience targeting and segmentation, and hands-on experience developing data driven test-and-learn plans.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Develop email communication strategy with various internal stakeholders to identify proper
approach to increase customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and growth;
Manage email campaigns in email service provider platform, including setup, testing, deployment,
and reporting;
Conduct data segmentation against email database to create targeted lists for each email send.
Work with internal stakeholders on targeting strategy;
Create automated, multi-touch, targeted customer lifecycle digital marketing programs;
Establish key metrics, create review cycle, and provide insights on customer intelligence;
Partner with creative and campaign teams to optimize template design and content;
Work with other digital marketing teams to develop cross-channel communication strategy;
Recommend and implement email best practices across the global organization

Skills and Requirements
- 7-10 years of experience in email marketing, online marketing, or database marketing; creating or sending largescale email campaigns and meeting campaign goals
- Experience with A/B test plan methodologies and reporting
- Experience working with top-tier Email Service Provider (ESP) platforms (i.e. Salesforce
Marketing Cloud/ExactTarget, Eloqua, CheetahMail, Responsys, etc.)
- Experience with SQL and AMPscript
- Very strong knowledge of HTML / CSS. - Salesforce marketing cloud or SFMC
