Riser Fitness, established in 2013, is a multi-unit operator and developer of the Club Pilates franchise system. With locations in AZ, CA, CO, OR, and WA, Riser Fitness is one of the largest and longest operating franchisees of Club Pilates studios. 

Club Pilates offers group reformer classes in various formats and levels to accommodate everyone seeking to learn Pilates and enhance their fitness expertise. Committed to providing affordable and accessible Pilates to the community, class formats target a wide range of clients’ needs from youth to senior, beginner to advanced. Club Pilates was one of the first studios to create a 500-hour Teacher Training Program designed to thoroughly and safely teach group Pilates apparatus classes. With over 2200 instructors, we provide over 17 million workouts a year to tens of thousands of members. Club Pilates has been recognized in “Inc. Magazine's 500 List” and “Inc. Title: District Manager

Reports to: Directors of Sales and Director of Operations

Location:  East Bay Area

Status: Exempt – Full Time

 

POSITION:

The District Manager will be responsible for leading and managing daily operations to achieve business goals and maximize profitability. Duties will include guiding management staff in the region, setting performance objectives, evaluating and optimizing operational performance, ensuring regulatory and company standards are upheld, and preparing operations and financial reports.

The District Manager will utilize discretion and independent judgment in managing the studios and directing the work of employees. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·     Oversee the operations of multiple studios

·     Guide, train and manage lower-level management and supervisors

·     Prepare performance reports for presentation to upper administration

·     Organize and implement training programs for staff in the entire district

·     Ensure that all studios follow safety, health and business laws and regulations

·     Uphold company standards of excellence and service, guaranteeing quality performance

·     Collaborate with Directors team for the planning of large events

·     Maximize company profits at the studios in the district

·     Strategically manage marketing campaigns

·     Any other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

·     At least 1 year of multi-unit management experience

·     At least 3 years’ experience delegating tasks to a team

·     Able to influence and inspire a team to drive performance

·     Strong math skills to crunch numbers and keep track of region's profit

·     Ability to motivate others on a team and help them succeed

·     Multi-tasking skills and the ability to tend to multiple problems at a time

·     Problem-solving skills, especially in situations of high stress

·     Strong knowledge of company policy, goals and standards

·     Organizational skills to manage large amounts of information

·     Ability to generate a variety of reports and presentations displaying regional performance

·     Strong customer service skills in the areas of handling disputes and treating customers with care

·     An affinity and passion for fitness

·     Solid writing and grammar skills

·     Highly organized, proficient in data management, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines

·     Professional, punctual, reliable, and neat

·     Strong attention to detail and accuracy

·     Trustworthy and able to handle confidential information

·     Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers, clients, and the general public

·     Proficiency with computers and Studio software
