Job Title: Removable Dental Lab Technician – Digital & Analog

Location: Huntsville, Alabama

Salary: $25 – $40 per hour (Annualized: $52,000 – $83,200 per year, based on skills and experience)

Position Overview: 

We are a leading dental laboratory seeking experienced removable dental technicians — both digital removable designers and analog removable denture technicians — to join our Birmingham, Alabama team. As a key member of our lab, you will contribute to all stages of removable prosthetic fabrication, from initial design to final finish, in both digital and traditional workflows.

This role requires exceptional craftsmanship, strong digital design capabilities, and an unwavering commitment to producing high-quality removable prosthetics that meet both functional and aesthetic standards.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Full Denture Fabrication (Analog): Perform all steps of denture fabrication, including setup, relines, repairs, and finishing.
• Digital Removable Design: Utilize CAD software (e.g., ExoCad, 3Shape) to design partials, dentures, and other removable appliances, ensuring accuracy and precision.
• Finishing & Aesthetic Detailing: Trim, shape, and polish dentures to achieve a natural and lifelike appearance, ensuring optimal comfort and esthetics.
• Quality Assurance: Inspect all finished products for proper occlusion, alignment, and adherence to strict quality standards.
• Repairs & Adjustments: Complete timely repairs and adjustments to ensure proper fit and functionality.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other technicians, designers, and dental prosthetists to maintain efficient production and delivery timelines.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of materials, design specifications, and fabrication processes.
• Equipment Maintenance: Care for and maintain lab tools, CAD/CAM equipment, and related machinery.
• Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety, infection control, and regulatory protocols to ensure a safe and hygienic work environment.

Qualifications: 

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in removable dental prosthetics (analog, digital, or both) in a laboratory setting.
• Strong attention to detail, precision, and craftsmanship.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM design software for removable prosthetics (preferred for digital roles).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced team environment.
